Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is recovering in hospital after undergoing successful heart surgery, according to The
Redknapp had two stents placed in his coronary arteries and is due to be discharged in the next 48 hours. He is described as being in ‘excellent spirits’.
Tottenham have said that he ‘will not be rushed’ back to the dugout however, meaning he may not be available for the match against Fulham on Sunday.
Daniel Levy, the Tottenham chairman, said: “We are delighted the operation went so smoothly and successfully. Knowing Harry he will want to rush back but it’s important that he only does so when he has recovered properly.”
