Suarez nets four in Uruguay victory

Liverpool forward Luis Suarez scored all four goals as Uruguay beat Chile 4-0 to stay top of their South American World Cup qualifying group, reports.

Suarez became the first player to score four in a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifier since the legend that is Romario did it for Brazil in October 2000. The Uruguayan striker is in fop form and wrote on his official Facebook that he is delighted with the way the game went. The striker posted: ‘What a great game! Very happy with the win and the four goals. This is a very important step for the classification. Thanks to my teammates and everyone for the support they always give me. Hugs to all!’

Elsewhere, Daniel Agger played 90 minutes as Denmark beat Sweden 2-0 and Dirk Kuyt played a full game in Holland’s 0-0 draw with Switzerland.
