Suarez plans to stay at Liverpool long-term

Uruguay international striker Luis Suarez has pledged to stay at Liverpool for longer than his current five year contract.

Suarez has been a massive hit at Anfield, scoring four goals in 11 league appearances, and has said he is happy at the club with no intention of leaving in the foreseeable future.

“I’ve just started a phase of my career which I always dreamed about and wanted to do, which is to play for Liverpool,” Suarez told the Daily Mirror.

“I have five years left on my contract and I think beyond that, I’m already thinking about staying many more years at Liverpool. It’s a club I like. I feel very good about being here, about being in the city.”
