Manchester United make their first trip to South Wales in the Premier League to take on newly promoted Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
United have got their season back on track following their humiliating derby day defeat against Manchester City. Their 1-0 win over Sunderland last weekend was gritty and helped Sir Alex Ferguson’s 25 year anniversary champagne go down a little sweeter. Strikers Danny Welbeck and Michael Owen are suffering with injury and will not be involved.
Swansea pulled off a fantastic draw away at Liverpool before the international break thanks to their goalkeeper Michel Vorm. Brendan Rodgers admitted that he was in awe of United and the disposal of talent they hold, but the Swansea faithful believe they can beat the Champions and will raise the roof at the Liberty Stadium.
United fans will expect to win this one easily, but Swansea are not prepared to give the game up easily on the television cameras at teatime. Ferguson’s men will have enough and should win the game with a clean sheet also.
