Terry told to ignore racism questions before Sweden game

John Terry will definitely start against Sweden in England’s friendly at Wembley on Tuesday, The Sun reports.

The Chelsea captain has been at the centre of a racism storm along with QPR defender Anton Ferdinand and many believe that Terry should not even be part of the current England squad, until all allegations are cleared. Terry will be alongside England manager Fabio Capello at a press conference today, but has been gagged by the FA about speaking over the racism allegations.

The Chelsea man will also not answer questions over the mixed reception he received in England’s 1-0 win over Spain, where he was an unused substitute. Extra FA officials have been put in place to block any queries from the press in the conference and Terry is expected to just discuss all things related to the England squad.
