Three sides want Man City defender Onuoha

Queens Park Rangers, Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion are all hopeful of signing out-of-favour Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha in January, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Onuoha has started just three Premier League games since Roberto Mancini took over as City manager in December 2009, and has made just one appearance in all competitions this season.

He spent last season on loan at Sunderland and was set for a similar temporary move to Everton for the current campaign, but the deal collapsed at the last minute.

Now, QPR are reportedly preparing a £3.5 million bid, with boss Neil Warnock stating: “I’ve got a list of four or five players in the transfer window that I would really like, and if I get them it’s going to strengthen our squad considerably.”
