Tottenham are considering a move for German international Lucas Podolski, claims the Daily
With City looking to recoup most of the £25 million they spent on Adebayor in signing him from Arsenal, and the Togo frontman’s wages also a prohibitive factor, Spurs may turn to 26-year-old Podolski. The Cologne striker has 9 goals in 11 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
Podolski is thought to be a favourable option, as his wage demands are likely to be less than Adebayor’s. However, Spurs will face competition from Arsenal and Lazio, who are also keeping tabs on the forward with a view to a future move.
