Tottenham plan move for Dulwich youngster

Spurs are eyeing former Millwall and Reading youngster Michael Chambers according to the Daily Mail. Centre-back Chambers, 17, is currently playing for Dulwich Hamlet in the Ryman League, after being released from Reading’s youth team.

Tottenham will face stiff competition for Chambers should they continue their interest, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton and Aston Villa all also reportedly keeping tabs on the 6’ 2’’ defender. The Mail reports that youth scouts for ten teams were present to watch his last performance.

Dulwich Hamlet, currently top of the Ryman League, are fast developing a reputation for fostering talent, with two more of their seventeen-year-olds already snapped up by Championship clubs this year. Ian Wright is also a notable former player from the club.
