Tottenham are to take 18-year-old DC United winger Andy Najar on trial until December 10, according to the Daily
The Honduran has formerly been targeted by Arsenal, and will train with Tottenham during part of the long off-season of the MLS. DC United have been keen to underline that his participation in Tottenham’s training sessions is not a precursor to a permanent move.
“We are pleased to finalise Andy’s stay at Tottenham,” DC United’s General Manager Dave Kaspar stated. “I think this experience will be tremendous for him; he will come away from this as a better player, and we look forward to having him back with us shortly.
“It’s great for our players to get into a different environment and have a different experience. We feel it’s good for their continued development.”
