Valencia full back Jordi Alba is leaving the issue of reports linking him with Manchester United to his agent and claims he had no idea, Sky
Speculation has been rife over a potential offer from the Premier League champions for the 22 year old, who they have identified as a long-term replacement for French defender Patrice Evra. Alba is expected to line up against England for Spain at Wembley on Saturday, but is concentrating on his football and trusts that his agent holds the defender’s best interests at heart.
Alba said: ‘I cannot say anything as I am focused on playing well for Valencia. My representatives are there to handle everything at a higher level. I am not thinking about these things, because I do not know if they are true or not.
‘I am very happy here and I only think about maintaining and then improving. Anything else is for my representatives to deal with’, the 22 year old added.
