The Gunners are desperate to tie down their Dutch star to a long-term deal past his current contract expiry date of June 2013, but the player is rumoured to be against discussing the matter until the end of the season. Van Persie has been on blistering form with Arsenal so far this season and is arguably in the best form of his time in North London since his 2004 move from Feyernoord.
Hill-Wood does not believe the Dutchman is unhappy at the club and that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stopped any trouble associated with Van Persie following his time at Feyernoord, which was rumoured to be quite difficult.
