Villas-Boas insists Chelsea are on the right track

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas says that the club’s recent inconsistent form is part of a learning curve, and that the side are still heading in the right direction.

After a 1-1 draw with Genk in the Champions League during the week, Chelsea have won just one of their last four fixtures in all competitions.

However, Villas-Boas is quoted by the Telegraph as saying: “I think you have to be frank and say our process was stopped in a disastrous week for us in terms of results. But you cannot say it’s all gone to ruins. That’s not true. We represent a massive club and we’re not running away from mistakes, but we have to move on. We are on the right track. What we are building is still right,” he concluded.
