Andre Villas-Boas insists that the Chelsea players are firmly behind him, despite the current problems on the field, The
Chelsea have suffered four defeats in seven matches and pressure is mounting on the young Portuguese manager, who was brought in from Porto in the summer. Villas-Boas will be looking to get his side back on track with a win against Wolves and believes his players have the quality to do so. Villas-Boas admits that he has under-performed as Blues boss so far this season, but insists that there are no problems within the dressing room.
The former Porto boss also admits that he will not shirk the responsibility and is working to turn things around for the Blues. ‘We have meetings all the time, but there is no dissent, not with me or with this club. There has been no criticism whatsoever of what we are doing. I know these players have passion for the club, all felt pride and emotion about coming to Chelsea, and are all fully committed to the club’, Villas-Boas said.
