Emmanuel Adebayor has eyed three wins out of their next three games for Tottenham if they want to finish in the top four, The
The Togolese international has been bang in form for Spurs, who have performed fantastically so far this season to reach third place. Tottenham have two games in hand over the league leaders Manchester City, but are ten points away. Spurs have cemented themselves in the top four due to their 11 game unbeaten run that ended at Stoke earlier this month. The chasing pack of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are trying to close the gap on Spurs and Adebayor insists his side must keep winning.
Tottenham face Norwich today at Carrow Road, before heading to a noisy Liberty Stadium on New Year’s day to take on Swansea and then face West Brom on January 3rd. The Spurs striker will be looking for wins and goals in those three games to keep the pressure on the top two and keep the distance from those chasing.
Adebayor said: ‘We have to keep our head up, keep doing our thing, keep enjoying ourselves. Now we are going to play Norwich on Boxing Day. We have to do everything we have to win that game. Then we have Swansea away, I’m not saying they are going to be easy games, but if you want to be in the top four, those are the types of games that you have to win home or away.’
