Liverpool defender Daniel Agger insists that hard work is the only way Liverpool can solve their goal troubles, liverpoolfc.tv reports.
The Reds dropped two more points against Blackburn on Boxing Day despite dominating the game. Liverpool once again created a number of goalscoring chances, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Agger, and the rest of the Liverpool defence, have been solid so far this season and are the best defence in the league along with Manchester United. However, the forwards at the club have failed to score the chances they create, with the club scoring fewer than two of the bottom three clubs. The Danish international admits it has been similar all season so far.
‘It’s a worry, but what can you do? The only way to solve it is to create more chances. I really think for 80% or 90% of the time, we are playing well. That’s the strange thing as normally, when you play well, you get a bit more luck’, Agger added.
