At 31 years of age, Malouda represents one of Chelsea’s ageing squad, and with pressure on manager Andre Villas-Boas to lower that average age the club may be willing to sell the man purchased from French outfit Lyon in 2007.
With the likes of Juan Mata and Raul Meireles being bought in the summer, and Daniel Sturridge developing into a first team player at Stamford Bridge, opportunities for Malouda are becoming more scarce which may tempt him to move away from London.
