Andre Villas-Boas’ side may face the possibility of no game on Boxing day, because of the strike. London Underground train drivers will bring the capital to a halt, affecting the fixtures of Arsenal and Championship sides Watford and Millwall.
Chelsea have stated that they are in negotiations with London Transport, the Metropolitan Police and other authorities over the game. The West London derby is important to the Blues fans and they will be looking for a Chelsea win to extend the Christmas cheer.
