with Tottenham, chelseafc.com reports.
The Blues defender was awarded man of the match and had a hand in Chelsea’s goal, providing the cross for Daniel Sturridge’s equaliser. Chelsea are now 11 points behind league leaders Manchester City, but Cole believes that the point is not a bad thing and his side are still in contention. Chelsea now face a West London derby against Fulham in three days time.
Cole said: “We’ve dropped a lot of points from the start of the season, but the league is getting better. Tottenham have a great squad and a great team and I think they have the belief now that they can win it. There are five teams who still have a chance and we have to hope the top teams slip up. At the moment, it’s anyone’s league.”
The England international also praised the game plan Andre Villas-Boas used at a tough ground such as White Hart Lane. Chelsea now sit in fourth, two points behind third placed Spurs and just a point in front of Arsenal in fifth position.
