Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka could make a switch to Italian side AS Roma in the January transfer window, talkSPORT
The Croatian has featured in just three Premier League matches so far this season, having lost his right back berth to Kyle Walker, who has been in sensational form. Corluka is eager to play for his country at the European Championships this coming summer and wants first-team football.
Roma are prepared to give the 25 year old some permanent football with a loan move until the end of the season. The Italian side will also have the option of signing Corluka, should he impress at the Stadio Olimpico. Spurs are not eager to sell the Croatian, but could be open to loaning him out if he desires.
Agent Nikky Vuksan said: ‘Roma are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and I would accept him wearing their shirt. I hope to have a meeting with Tottenham soon, so we can clarify his future’.
