Dalglish angry at Suarez chants but admits decision to be made on offensive gesture

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was furious at the cheat chants aimed towards striker Luis Suarez against Fulham, The Telegraph reports.

Suarez was subjected to chants all night from the home support after Fulham supporters perceived that he was constantly diving. The Uruguayan could find himself in hot water after making an explicit hand gesture towards Fulham fans, but Dalglish is annoyed at the way the Cottagers’ fans conducted themselves in West London.

The Reds boss said over the Suarez chants: ‘That’s scandalous. We’ll look after Luis as best we can and I think it’s about time he got a bit of protection from some people. His integrity is impeccable. He can look in the mirror and go to bed at night and sleep soundly’.

On the hand gesture, Dalglish added: ‘I haven’t seen the picture and I’m not taking anybody’s word for it. If you show me the picture and I’m convinced that what you’re saying is true, then I’ve got a decision to make.’
