The central defender has been kept out of Tottenham’s campaign since October with an achilles injury which required surgery, but the 28-year-old is now close to a full return to first team action, and could even be on the bench against Swansea tomorrow.
“It feels great to be out there again,” said Dawson. “It’s been a difficult few months, [but] I’ve been back outside for the last couple of weeks doing my fitness work and it’s fantastic to train with the lads again. I can’t wait for the next step, being out there and playing again.”
