Didier Drogba may join up with Chelsea team mate Nicolas Anelka in China with the Ivorian striker rumoured to be attracting interest from big spending Chinese Super League outfit Guangzhou Evergrande, according to the Daily
Anelka has already agreed a deal to join Shanghai Shenhua in January and may be lining up against Drogba if the deal were to go through.
Guangzhou are current CSL champions and have the financial backing to offer the 33 year old one last lucrative contract, as evidenced by their acquisitions of Argentinean Dario Conca and Brazilian Cleo this season.
Drogba is however set to miss potentially six weeks of the season when he joins the Ivory Coast national team for the African Cup of Nations in January, so any deal is likely to be struck when his contract expires in the summer.
