Inter to offer Tottenham Milito deal

Inter Milan are ready to offer striker Diego Milito to Tottenham Hotspur as they seek to create funds, according to The Daily Mail.

Spurs were interested in Diego Forlan all summer, but the Uruguayan made the switch to Inter and pushed Milito onto the bench. The Argentinian is discontented with his current role at the Serie A side, who sit 15th in the league following a disastrous start to the season. New Inter boss Claudio Ranieri wants to freshen up his forward line and has already earmarked 22 year old Chilean hotshot Eduardo Vargas.

Milito is currently top scorer for Inter in the league with three goals in only eight appearances, but Ranieri prefers Giampaolo Pazzini and Mauro Zarate with a sale of Diego Forlan firmly out of the question. Inter believe that Spurs, Marseille and Schalke are all interested in the striker, who scored the two goals that gave Inter Champions League glory back in 2009.

Spurs are looking to improve their forward line with the impending exit of Roman Pavyluchenko and boss Harry Redknapp sees Milito as a perfect signing,
