Sources from Italy indicate that the Juventus President Andre Agnelli called Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini to discuss the availability of his controversial striker. Tevez had been linked with a loan move to Juventus’ rivals AC Milan but City are only willing to accept cash offers for the Argentine.
Tevez is currently in Argentina having failed to report for training when given clear instructions by the club to stay in Manchester, and as a result Mancini is keen to take any offers seriously.
