Florent Malouda has issued an ultimatum to Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas, stating that unless he gets more game time, he will leave the club.
Metro reports that the French midfielder has become frustrated with his lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge. Malouda was given 30 minutes of the Boxing Day game against Fulham and has only started four games so far this season. Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge is keeping Malouda out of the starting line-up and the Frenchman has been lined up by Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
Anzhi had been linked with a £6m move for Malouda, but the French international dismissed the rumours and insisted that he could not even pronounce their name. Malouda could move back to France and former club Lyon are interested in the 31 year old. PSG are also involved in a chase for Malouda, who has confirmed that he would be interested in a move to the French capital.
Malouda said: ‘My playing time cannot satisfy me. It’s too small compared to the ambitions I have and so, if necessary, I will go’.
