The Premier League leaders Manchester City look to keep their unbeaten start to the season going against Norwich City.
Roberto Mancini’s men were lucky to see their record stay intact at Anfield last weekend as City drew 1-1 with Liverpool. Goalkeeper Joe Hart was much to thank after some stunning saves and he will regain his place following his absence in the Carling Cup victory over Arsenal in midweek. Striker Mario Balotelli and midfielder Gareth Barry are both back from suspension. Defender Aleksandar Kolarov faces a late fitness test.
Norwich have been impressive so far this season and ended a four match winless streak to beat QPR 2-1 at Carrow Road last weekend. Paul Lambert insists they will play their normal style of football at the Etihad Stadium and sees the return of defenders Zak Whitbread and Daniel Ayala to his injury-hit backline. The Canaries are just inside the top half of the table and are happy to look up towards Europe, instead of down towards the relegation places.
The Canaries will travel to the Etihad Stadium in good mood and hopeful of a point, but there will only be one winner. Mancini’s men have too much class for Norwich and should easily get another three points to add to their fantastic start.
