Manchester United first team coach Rene Meulensteen believes that the club are benefiting from the youth system implemented, manutd.com reports.
The Dutchman has brought his philosophy of teaching schoolboys hard work when they are at Carrington and the benefits are showing. Meulensteen was fortunate to work with Will Coerver in the 1990’s, who implemented the Coerver method, and United are benefiting. Meulensteen also believes that the importance of educating the children about the right way to play stands both them and the club in good stead.
Meulensteen said: ‘I
‘In the beginning, the kids are young and just respond to the environment you create for them. They don’t know what is good or bad, they just enjoy it or hate it.
