Sir Alex Ferguson looks to have found a future replacement for Patrice Evra as he has been scouting PSV youngster Jetro Willems, The Mirror has revealed.
United are preparing an offer for the 17-year-old left-back after Ferguson’s brother Martin, a United scout, was sent to observe the Dutch wonderkid.
The teenager joined PSV from Sparta Rotterdam in August and has already made seven Eredivisie appearances for the club this season and has already attracted interest from United as well as several other top European clubs.
The Red Devils are lacking a young left-back to step up to the first-team if Evra leaves or picks up an injury which is something the United boss wants to rectify by bringing in Willems in the near future.
