Marseille are looking into the possibility of signing Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou in the January transfer window, talkSPORT
The Ligue 1 side are keen on the Ivorian forward, who has fallen out of contention under Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas, and will test the Blues resolve with a bid. Chelsea will allow Marseille to contact Kalou directly in the January transfer window.A loan deal could be more feasible before any permanent deal can be arranged. The Ivorian forward is desperate for more first team football and with his contract expiring in the summer, the 26 year old could move for free next year.
Kalou himself remained coy over a move when asked recently about his future at Stamford Bridge. ‘I have nothing to comment on the rumours. Olympiakos were interested, but I’m not interested in Greece. I want to play more and more’.
