AC Milan are prepared to offer Alexandre Pato to Manchester City in exchange for out-of-favour striker Carlos Tevez, according to The
Tevez has not featured for the first team since refusing to warm up in a Champions League game with Bayern Munich and looks certain to exit the club in January.
Milan have previously declared their interest, but were only initially prepared to make a loan offer for the 27-year-old.
However, they are now reportedly ready to throw Pato into the bargain, with the young Brazilian forward having fallen down the pecking order at the San Siro.
With the likes of Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli all finding the net on a regular basis, it is uncertain that Roberto Mancini would be able to accommodate another striker at the Etihad.
As a result, The Daily Star reports that City would prefer a swap deal involving defender Thiago Silva, although Milan are thought to have no interest in negotiating this.
