Fernando Torres is a transfer target for Italian giants AC Milan as well as Spanish side Malaga, according to The Daily Mail.
The Chelsea striker has struggled for form since his £50m move from Liverpool in January. Torres has spent most of this season on the bench and faces competition to displace the impressive Didier Drogba up front. Chelsea are reportedly willing to take a cut on the transfer fee they paid for Torres and want £20m.
AC Milan are also chasing Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez and could look to pair Torres with Tevez. The Serie A side want to take Torres on loan initially before making a completed £30m deal in the summer. Malaga have been spending money freely since their takeover from Arab investors and are willing to break the bank for Torres. The Spanish side are looking to seal a Champions League spot for next season and could use Torres as the focal point of their side.
The Blues may not want to sell Torres, as Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou depart for the African Cup of Nations next month. Nicolas Anelka is also moving to China to sign a £20m deal with Shanghai Shenhua and Torres will surely start for Villas-Boas. Also, Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas had stated that Torres would not be sold. However, if Torres continues to misfire, his chances of playing at Stamford Bridge could diminish.
