Roman Pavyluchenko’s agent has alerted interest from Newcastle and QPR after revealing that the Russian forward has not agreed a deal to join Lokomotiv Moscow, Metro
The 29 year old had reportedly signed personal terms and agreed a contract with Lokomotiv, who were negotiating a fee with the North Londoners. Pavyluchenko’s representative Oleg Artemov has insisted that whilst Lokomotiv have an offer on the table, nothing has been decided yet. Rangers and Newcastle are desperate for a new striker and Pavyluchenko has been earmarked by both Alan Pardew and Neil Warnock.
‘Roman has one and a half years left on his contract with Tottenham. And who found out that it’s Lokomotiv that has agreed anything with him. He hasn’t signed anything. There are more offers. We are learning, analysing and talking about them’, Artemov said.
Pavyluchenko is desperate to leave Spurs to keep his dreams of playing in Euro 2012 alive. The Russian has struggled to hold down a regular first team spot at White Hart Lane and is behind the likes of Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor in the pecking order.
