French side Paris Saint Germain could offer Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou a passage away from Stamford Bridge, according to The
Kalou is one of six Chelsea players that Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas is eager to sell in January. Former Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele, who played with Kalou, is a sporting advisor with the Parisians and is supposedly telling his employers to make a move for the Ivorian. Kalou has not seen much first team action so far this season and could be interested in a move to France, especially a club investing heavily and making strides like PSG are.
Juventus have also expressed interest in Kalou, who is out of contract at the end of the season, but is expected that PSG will obtain the signature of the Blues man. Kalou can sign a pre-contract agreement at the end of next month and is expected to make a decision over whether he wants to make the move to Italy or France in the coming weeks.
However, the 26 year old is involved in the African Cup of Nations in the New Year and will not play between January 21st and February 12th. Any side that wants to sign Kalou would have to wait until mid-February before he becomes involved in their immediate plans. Arsenal are also seen as an outside shout to sign the Ivorian.
