Harry Redknapp and Scott Parker have picked up the November awards for manager and player of the month, The
Spurs have been impressive so far this season and are currently unbeaten in 11 league games, leaving them third in the Premier League table. Redknapp believes his side can win the title and their form in November has shown it. Wins away at Fulham and West Brom, accompanied by a home victory over Aston Villa, have given Redknapp the award.
The manager’s return from heart surgery has coincided with some really sumptious football from Spurs and they do not look out of touch with the Champions League places. Midfielder Parker was signed by Spurs from West Ham United in the summer and has shown why he is a top England international. His combative nature has provided a real anchor for the attacking talent Spurs have and Parker is a reliable player for Redknapp in the midfield.
The 30 year old looks like one of the buys of the season and is a deserved winner of the award. Both manager and player received their awards at the Spurs training ground and have been heralded by the Barclays Awards panel, who give the award. The panel is made up of representatives from football’s governing bodies, media and fans.
