Redknapp is keen to add to his attacking options as Tottenham push for a return to the Champions League, and although he feels it is improbable, Redknapp believes that Tevez fits the bill.
“He is a special player, the type of player who could make the difference, but I wouldn’t think that’s a real possibility.” However, Redknapp does believe that Daniel Levy would support him with funds if the right player came up.
“If someone came along who we felt was special, someone who could make the difference, I think we would go for him.” He added. “The chairman would back me all the way if it was someone who we felt could take us that extra little bit forward.”
