The Spurs squad has been beset by niggling injuries over the festive period, with Aaron Lennon sidelined for three weeks with a hamstring injury, and Jermain Defoe also out with a similar complaint. Meanwhile, Rafael van der Vaart also tweaked his hamstring against Chelsea, though this injury was not as bad as first feared and the Dutchman should feature against Norwich this evening.
“You’ve got to try and keep your players fit now,” Redknapp said. “You need a squad, you need to be able to change your squad around to keep some players fresh. Managing the squad and keeping them happy is probably my toughest challenge – it’s not easy.”
