Redknapp angry at referee after Spurs defeat

Harry Redknapp was highly critical of referee Chris Foy after a string of decisions went against Tottenham in their 2-1 defeat to Stoke.

Emmanuel Adebayor had a goal disallowed for offside when appearing to be played at least two yards on, whilst Spurs were also denied a goal by what looked like a handball on the Stoke goal-line. In addition, another second half handball claim fell on deaf ears, and Younes Kaboul was sent off late on for a second bookable offence.

Speaking after the game to Sky Sports, Redknapp slammed Foy: “I never complain about referee’s decisions; I have not done it in 30 years of management, never. But today, I’m afraid, he got some badly wrong. I felt he was enjoying giving us nothing.”
