Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed he is happy for some of his younger fringe players leave the club on loan in January, according to Sky
Redknapp had been using the Europa League to give playing time to the lesser used members of his squad, but after crashing out recently that will no longer be an option.
As a result, he is willing to let the likes of Jake Livermore and Andros Townsend leave the club on a temporary basis in order to experience regular first team football.
“We’re not going to let any of the players that we want to keep go in January, but I’m going to let some lads go out on loan,” said Redknapp.
“It might be difficult but there’s been a couple of Premier League clubs wanting to loan Jake. And the other lads, people like Andros Townsend, we’ll get them out to the Championship or wherever to play.”
