Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Marseille striker Loic Remy and are prepared to offer Roman Pavlyuchenko in exchange, according to Talksport.

As a result, Harry Redknapp is hoping he can kill two birds with one stone by offloading the 29-year-old and bringing in a replacement in Remy.
Remy signed for Marseille in the summer of 2010, after having been linked with Arsenal and Stoke City. Since then, he has become a regular for both club and country, and scored 19 goals in 48 games in all competitions last season.
Spurs would hope to bring in a new striker should Pavlyuchenko depart, with the club only having Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe as their other senior forwards.
