Andre Villas-Boas claims he will not be sacked as Blues boss this season, no matter what happens, according to The
Chelsea have been in poor form as of late with five defeats in their last nine games, but Villas-Boas believes that owner Roman Abramovich will give him time to see out his three-year transformation of the club. The Blues owner has seen his side endure their worst start since Abramovich’s arrival and the pressure on the Chelsea boss was heightened by the Carling Cup loss to Liverpool midweek. Villas-Boas signed a three year deal in the summer and now faces a difficult December, where he could exit the Champions League and be almost eliminated from the title race.
The 34 year old still has confidence in his ability and believes that he will get time. ‘If I go out of the Champions League and don’t win the Premier League, I will keep my job. I’m confident I was brought in for a three-year project. It is only a crisis at the end of the season when you look at how many trophies you have won’, Villas-Boas said.
