Celtic winger James Forrest has played down talk of a possible move to Tottenham in the transfer window, reports Sky
The 20-year-old Scot has spent his entire career thus far at Celtic, and was recently listed by FIFA as one of the top 13 young players in world football. He has made 58 career appearances for the SPL team, scoring twelve goals and providing ten assists. Tottenham scouts had been watching Forrest in recent matches, and manager Harry Redknapp was thought to be weighing up a possible move before the conclusion of the January transfer window.
However, regarding the speculation, Forrest said: “It is obviously good to hear, but it doesn’t bother me. The main thing is I want to keep playing well with Celtic. I am not thinking about it – as long as I’m doing well and the team’s doing well, I’m happy.”
