Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero is being touted by Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish as a potential January signing, Sky
Granero is finding his chances at the Santiago Bernabeu severely limited under Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, but despite only three appearances, Mourinho wants Granero to stay. The 24 year old could well be on the move this month and according to his agent, Liverpool are looking into the signing of Granero. Dalglish is without Lucas Leiva for the rest of the season and with the inconsistent form of Jordan Henderson in midfield, the Reds boss is keen to add to his squad.
Teo Lazaro said: ‘He’s finding his chances limited at Real. He’s keen for a move away – possibly to Liverpool. If he can’t play at Madrid, then he’ll play somewhere else. It’s as simple as that’.
Lazaro added that he has heard nothing from Arsenal in connection with the Madrid man, but the Reds will have to act fast to sign their man. Liverpool are looking to strengthen as they try to get into the Champions League places and Dalglish is also looking for a new striker. Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente has been touted as a new signing for the Reds and could join Granero at Anfield by the end of January.
