Niko Kranjcar has stated he is prepared to remain at Spurs and fight for a midfield place rather than leaving in January, reports The
Kranjcar, 27, has only made six appearances in the Premier League this season, with two of those coming as a substitute. He had been linked with a move away to gain more first team football, with German club Hamburg, amongst others, monitoring his situation.
However, the Croatian played the full 90 minutes on Saturday in the FA Cup tie with Cheltenham, and after the game he admitted, “I believe my future is at Tottenham – the manager has stuck by me. I want to get in shape and have a good Euro 2012. That’s why I’m staying: to get fit for the Euros.”
