Liverpool eye Redmond and Moses move

Liverpool are interested in signing Birmingham City winger Nathan Redmond and Wigan striker Victor Moses, according to The Daily Mail.

The Reds are keen to build for the future with director of football Damien Comolli showing his intent about signing the best of British. Liverpool signed Jordan Henderson in the summer and have snapped up 16 year old Jordan Ibe from Wycombe also. Redmond is enjoying his football at St. Andrew’s and the 17 year old has two years left on his current deal. Manchester City are interested in Redmond and Liverpool will have to move quickly.

Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton is desperate to hold on to the bright prospect, but the Reds have been monitoring the situation of the winger. Redmond made his debut in the Carling Cup in 2010 and has become a mainstay in the first team in the Europa League.

Moses has stalled on signing a new contract at the DW Stadium, which has alerted Liverpool. The striker’s form this season has shown the potential many believed he had when he made the move from Crystal Palace. Moses’ agent Tony Finnigan said: ‘My phone goes all the time. Victor’s got his admirers out there’.
