Liverpool are eyeing up want-away Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega, according to The
The Anfield club have been put on alert by the Colombian striker’s recent comments to Caracol Radio. “My contract at Wigan runs out at the end of May, and I hope this situation gets resolved – but I can already say that these are my last three months with Wigan,” he said.
The 26-year-old has been at Wigan since 2009, making 106 appearances for the Latics, scoring 25 goals and becoming the team’s all time top Premier League goalscorer in the process. He has also made 40 appearances for the Colombia national team, scoring 8 goals.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton are rumoured to be showing an interest, but whether or not Wigan will allow Rodallega to leave is questionable, with boss Roberto Martinez having previously said he would rather keep the striker until the end of the season than offload him in January.
