City’s first-team coach David Platt said: “The manager is dealing with the players he has got at his disposal. We’re into the January transfer window where Carlos has his suitors.
“Carlos and his advisers will tell you that they want to find a solution for him in terms of a different club and City are quite happy to accept offers. But if it’s not the right deal for the club then he will still be a City player.” He concluded. “Where we go from February 1 if that happens, we will see and deal with that when it comes.”
