Wantaway Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez could still make a move to French side Paris Saint Germain, even if the deal is not completed in January, ESPN
Talks with PSG and Italian giants Inter Milan broke down last week, which leaves AC Milan the only club with a chance of signing Tevez in January. The Argentinian forward is desperate to get away from the Etihad Stadium and City boss Roberto Mancini has insisted he will never play for the Premier League leaders again. Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian insists that the 27 year old would love a move to Paris and has not given up hope of completing a deal.
Joorabchian said: ‘If Carlos doesn’t leave Manchester City this winter, he doesn’t rule out the possibility to join PSG in the summer. Carlos has faith in PSG project. You know he had talks with Carlo Ancelotti, one of the best coaches in the world. He talked with (PSG director of football) Leonardo. Paris can be a possibility.’
City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak has publicly spoken earlier this week over the Tevez situation and insists further sanctions will face Tevez if he continues to break club rules. It transpired earlier this week that the club have stopped paying Tevez his £200,000 a week wages and have fined him six weeks pay for gross misconduct.
