Ramsey delighted after QPR

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has spoken of his delight to get three points in a tough game with Queens Park Rangers yesterday, arsenal.com reports.

The Gunners broke down a solid QPR side thanks to a goal from captain Robin van Persie on the hour mark at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal moved up to fourth in the process thanks to Chelsea’s defeat and the Gunners have made good progress following their nightmare start to the season. Ramsey started his 17th league game of the season against Neil Warnock’s side and revealed that a tough win is highly satisfying.

The Welsh international said: ‘It was a tough game today, we had to be patient and wait for our chance. QPR had a good result at Swansea, which is a tough place to go, and they have kept a number of clean sheets.

‘They’ve been in good form, they’re very solid defensively, so it was tough for us. We created a few opportunities and on another day, we probably would have scored them, but it was hard. It is a game that we are delighted to win’, Ramsey added.
