The South African international was brought into White Hart Lane from Everton a year ago, but has failed to establish a regular spot in the Tottenham first team. Premier League side QPR are speaking with Spurs over signing the 29 year old, but their original offer was dismissed by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. QPR boss Mark Hughes has also identified Sebastian Bassong as a target and the two players could be brought into Loftus Road before Tuesday’s deadline. £6m is the proposed fee for the double deal and Redknapp will look to get the moves done, so he has money to spend in the summer.
Young Mexican forward Giovani Dos Santos has been earmarked by Spanish side Villarreal, who are ready to offer £6m for the 22 year old. The former Barcelona man has spent time on loan at Racing Santander, Galatasaray and Ipswich Town during his White Hart Lane career and will look to move to Villarreal quickly.
Russian striker Roman Pavyluchenko is still looking to leave White Hart Lane and the £9m rated forward could move back to his native Russia. Anzhi Makhachkala and Spartak Moscow are interested in signing the 30 year old, as well as Premier League side Sunderland, and Payluchenko is eager to force a move. His agent has claimed that Levy is holding too high a price over the Russian’s head and wants a reduction so the striker can move away from Spurs.
