Redknapp warns City they may regret Adebayor loan

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has told Manchester City and Roberto Mancini that they may live to regret loaning out striker Emmanuel Adebayor to White Hart Lane, having scored 9 goals in 18 games for Tottenham, with the side only having lost one game in which he has played.

Redknapp has told the Mirror how happy he has been with the former Arsenal striker’s contribution so far this season: “We will have Adebayor until the end of the year and see how we go. We like him and he has enjoyed it here. He has done well for us, yes. He has been good. He has not been a minute’s problem – although things are going well for us and we are winning.”

With Spurs lying only three points behind Adebayor’s parent club at the top of the table, Mancini will be forgiven for beginning to regret loaning out his striker to the club’s surprise title rivals.
